Teaching Outside with STE(A)M and Sustainable Development Goals

This presentation will investigate ways to take STEM learning outside by showcasing projects from my classroom with “how to” examples for participants. It will include projects with Microbits, Makey Makey and data collection ideas. The purpose of this presentation is to showcase how to teach outside in order to provide a safe learning environment that maintains social distancing and to teach technology skills. This will allow students the opportunity to take learned skills and develop their own project ideas that align with SDGs in order to investigate and learn about nature.
