Autopilot refers to when people are not focused on the outside world or task at hand and are looking into their own thoughts instead. It turns out that just under 50% of our time is spent on autopilot! Even worse, autopilot generally produces feelings of being unhappy. Brining awareness to our daily lives, during all actions we partake in, can make a major difference in how we act and feel.
